O.K guys, here's the question.
We had a king slam a magnum spoon last year. The fish hit the lure and blew it out one of its gills. the line was running through the mouth, but the fish was hooked in the side. Is this a foul hooked fish?

By the letter of the law it is foul hooked but there is not a CO in the state that would issue a ticket for the occurance you describe. Nuff said on this topic.
