Float Tubes

I want to buy a float tube but don't want to spend too much for it. What have been your favorite style of float tubes? I have seen ones that sit on two pontoons and have oars and the cheaper inner tube style with back and arm rests. My worry with the inner tube style ones is they will be like every air mattress i have bought and deflate within two uses. ;)

Thanks for your suggestions.

my primary tube is the Togiak

check cabelas web site for a pic

used this tube for a number of years on the Au Sable from May thru Sept

also have another pontoon style tube, forget the name

I did use a round tube for years before these.

I leave the tube inflated year-round. No air leakage. Tube fluctuations due to air and water temp, nothing substantial.

I really like tube mobility on and off the water. But then, I have been using them for 20+ years

I'm with Steve, I have had a "Dry Fly"boat for many years. You can't beat them as far as i am concerned.
I put an 8 foot line off the back using a "D" ring with a chain on it. That keeps me floating with the current with no problem. They are made up around Irons Michigan.
IMHO: You can't beat them, they are the best on the market!!!!.:)
