I’ve been fishing Munising off sand point the splak and white fish are hitting good 8 in good ice buying minnows has not been good no one seams to keep them

I live about 1/2 hour south of there but have never fished it.
Do you fish the area near the Anna river dock ?

Yes on both they say the coho are biting but I didn’t catch any

Where do you get minnows in the Munising area?
I just never get over that way to fish.

Ah, ok.
I know they opened that new bait shop in Marquette recently and heard they have good quality bait and minnows.
Do you ever fish Au Train or the Basin ?

just heard on the news this morning that four snowmobilers went through the ice on the east side of Grand Island. Fortunately, they all made it out and got to the island where they were picked up by hover craft. FM

I saw where 2 died down in Saginaw bay yesterday.

I believe you can get minnows in Autrain. I used to fish off the Anna and would catch splake and whitefish with the occasional salmon.

Looking to get up there late February. Anyone know how the fishing is around that time? FOW? Also any recommendations on bait for catching both Splake and whities?

Been there once before, caught 1 splake, 1 ****** fishing 45'.. but I've seen people out near 60' and even close to the Anna near 10'...

I would really like to do the same, open water fished it cpl years back and caught a coho and splake. Through the ice would be awesome up there, been wanting to do that for a long time
