He cut the gills to bleed it out,in my opinion makes a big difference in the quality of the fish so it wasn't going to live at all.Cool vid

Yes when you bleed the fish out the meat taste 100 times better and the eggs are better to use as bait

i under stand that, but i didn't see him gill it or any blood flowing, looked like they were going to take it for a boat ride

i string fish to keep them alive, then gill them when i'm ready to leave, so i don't have blood in the water while i'm still fishing
