So I found some really nice blanks and trying my hand at painting them. These were the first couple I tried. What do u guys think

All started from a flat grey blank. Little bit of sanding and cleaning and paint away.

Gonna try some new colors when I get back (chrome, purple and chartreuse ) as well as doing some scales on them .

Just (re)paint over it, right?

They look pretty fishable. Mark me down for a couple in Silver & Black, Gold & Black and all Black, perhaps with just a silver lateral line.

No split rings or hooks needed. I have those in spades.

They all look great to me. I would just throw any you are not super happy with in the whitebass fishing box. That's what I do with my creations that do not make the grade. Them things will strike anything, maybe hit the green/red one with some white on the belly for a whitebass slayer supremo. :lol:

I'd take a few of them pink lemonades.

I think they look great, id try a couple depending how true they ran in the water which is what's most important imo when it comes to buying lure blanks. I'd suggest a clown color as well. That black and silver looks fire!

Finished a few more today. Tried a new paint today not sure if you can see it but there is silver glitter that Shimmers. Can't wait to get out and give these a try and see how they move
