My guess would be by next weekend
Had a good 5 inches of ice past the crack behind the restaurant yesterday and I saw a quad out there. I would run a sled on it personally, but I’m also a stranger on the internet. Run machines at your own risk.
1st 2 were out this morning... were sitting on 6" in 9 fow.
Did hear they sunk a quad yesterday.... not sure where.

fairhaven only gets good for perch when the machines start....perch come in to watch the drag races 😁
There was a 10'x10' open water hole on Saturday afternoon where a crack was working. It was about 200 yards SW of the rock wall.
Machines yesterday out at cotton. Sleds running back and forth from selfridge to salt river. In my opinion ice too sketchy very thin spots under the snow patches and air pockets are glazed over so use caution
There's a truck and trailer parked out there today, ice must be thicker that I thought
