I have an elite4, I am sure they operate the same in the graph section.
First put it in ICE mode
In setting, change it to Manual
From there you will need to change your setup depending on the fishing conditions (cloudy water, depth)
I like to put mine in split zoom, I watch the zoom screen in 4x and focus on the bottom, the full screen I watch the entire water column for suspended fish
Turn your noise reduction as high as it will go....this only gets rid of noise from a close by graph/flasher
From there adjust your sensitivity where you like it.....I like to set mine so that I can see my jig faintly in black....you may find that you like it heavier, just adjust the sensitivity to your liking.
As you get used to it you will find yourself adjusting every time out to get it to show up the way you like it.....there is no wrong or right way
I use advanced mode, fastest ping speed, and sensitivity so you can barely see your lure or bait. I usually run the split zoom as well. I adjust depth range manually so you get fullest use of the screen.
