Vintage fishing net by famed tackle maker and supplier Ed Cummings of Flint, Michigan. It is their model No.20 and so marked on the handle which also includes the company logo arrowhead decal (in perfect shape) and on the opposite side a 7" decal measure ruler to check your catch. Beautiful steam bent oak or ash frame with original netting. Measures approx. 24 inches long and 10 1/2 inches wide. It will display beautifully.
There are two holes in the netting that I would assume are repairable and there is a crack in the frame, you can kind of see it in the picture in the lower left side of the frame. The elastic cord still has some of it's stretch. The clip to the cord does have some corrosion.
Still a very nice addition to your vintage, old, antique, collectible trout, panfish, etc fishing collection.
I received this from a fellow who was quite the sportman in the Saginaw Bay area of Bay City MI back in the 1940's and 1950's. - See More Here: http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2628
