1542 with long tail should get you + another hunter around most managed zones just fine. It's also good for most inland lakes /rivers too and staying close to shore on bigger lakes. Maybe a winch set up if you'd need to pull dykes. Should probably put a blind on it too
I have a 1436 from freeway with 12 hp mud buddy for harsens. And the ware age is deep enough to run all over the flats if need be. I plan on a pop up blind at some point.but overall it's a great rig for draw hunts. No better feeling than not having to stop and clean the prop off from weeds. Or worry about impeller sucking muck up and cooking motor. ...did it once....not recommended.
