Discing up old food plots question

I'm late to this party.

Still, for the record: With a heavy crabgrass infestation I will spray first. Even if it is only by a few hours. Discing, cultivating, tillering....all break up the roots of crabgrass, which then are disbursed to do it all over again. But x 1000+. But a fast spray of glypho....and a wait of 3'sh hours till it is absorbed, It will be dead, not know it or show it, but you couldn't save it if you tried.

I do what others have already suggested, spread my lime, or fertilizer on top of the glypho'd crabgrass and begin discing. After a few passes to open it up, you can lay down your rye seed and continute on discing. Then pack if you got one.
