The small lake by me is frozen enough to walk on by the shore and is soft. As it has been cold. Up coming weather conditions this week with above freezing and rain and wet snow will not be getting any better in the near future

Yea the turn for the warm has made me pick a different destination. Looks like the crappie will have to wait another week
