Was down at Joe Louis this afternoon/tongiht for hockey, and got a chance to see the river up close. At 3:45, there was fairly clean water on the US side maybe 40% of the way across, and muddy water beyond that. By 6:30, the clean water looked to cover about 75% of the river.

Well, we've got a dandy set of thunderstorms rolling through here at 6 a.m. Looks like the clean water is going to last all of about 12 hours - and overnight at that. :(

At least you can work now with a clear mind, not having to worry about fishing. :eek:

I think this is about the only time I've ever went to work on a saturday with a smile on my face, would have got all pumped up for the first trip of the year only to stay home.........well maybe one day next week for me.....
