Just got in this morning around 8:00. Seen a handful of boats between frying pan and the lighthouse. I’m not sure if I’ll make it out to try this trip or not. To much work to do

My seven yr old is killing me to catch some salmon. Alarm set for 4:30 and he’s probably sitting at the door waiting for it to go off so he can run to the boat. I’m not the most seasoned Atlantic guy but I’ll report back

One lake trout- that’s it, right by the lighthouse. Ran into another fisherman in cedarville and he struck out as well. We will give it another try and post results

Had trouble keeping them pinned. 1-4 yesterday morning and 1-5 today. All on silver streak spoons. Anything orange green or pink with silver back. I ran 2 ounce in-line weights and boards. Best was probably 30 ft weight then 75-90 total to the board. Most fish were past the lighthouse and in the 130 ft range. Bugs were out of control. One we actually landed today was north of 10lb. Took my son and my 15 yr old cousin this morning. Sometimes it gets hard to keep things in order with the younger guys but we all had a blast. Each trip was only a couple hours bc of the bugs. 6:00-9:00 or so

How fast were you guys trolling?
And how deep do you figure that snap weight combo was down?

2.3-2.5 was good for me. From what it said on the lid to my snake bite box 2oz at 2.5 mph was 10-11 ft. I would think it would be deeper than that.
