Does anyone have much luck with Walleyes on Crystal Lake in Montcalm county?

I checked out the DNR's website and it looks like that's about all they stock in that lake. Even recently. Everytime I've been out, people have caught Pike and Perch, but I haven't heard of/seen a walleye out of there.

Just wondering if anyone else as any info?

Thanks!

I stopped by with my kayak a year ago and fished this lake in October. Caught a couple nice bass. Talked to a couple "locals" who said they fished the lake pretty regularly and never caught a walleye either.

Hey,
I have fished that lake for a few years now. I have only caught one "eye" through the ice, and a couple during the summer time. But, the past year or two I havn't caught one to speek of either. I just don't know what is going on with the lake. I know when I did catch the one through the ice, I was in front of the roller rink. I know, Just like everyone says. Find out where it starts dropping off from the 15ft range to 20ft. and that is where I caught mine. I also did really good infront of the marina or sail club. Good Luck with your venture. :fish:
