Anyone going to the davis unit might want to rethink it. Very very little water and next to no birds. Scouted it tonite about6.

He walked back to the Davis unit. He said there were guys everywhere, include some shooting off the dikes. He turned around and came home. My other buddy called from the point and said there is NO water in the fields

Lets hear some reports from the ole' davis unit! Usually hunt there but opted for the bay this year because of the east unit being drained. Figured it would be even more of a zoo than normal.

Drove back to the davis unit about 330 this am and already a few groups setup in the very little water there is back there. Decided to go to Np and drew 17 out of 66. Didnt do to good with only a few teal. Got a report from davis this am and sounded really really slow...

I rode my bike back there last night, not much water at all and almost no cover, so I tried someplace new today and it looks like I found me a new spot
