we have a 175 acre farm, but most of it is farmland. only about give or take 20 acres of woods. this year we will be growing corn. we also have a small stream flowing through the woods. what would be the best way to trap the coon and should i focus on trapping the stream or work bucket traps in the fields?

Set Both. Traps in the creek will catch coon/mink/rats. If ya have standing corn, you will see the coon trails, set them, with conis.

I agree with the trail sets. If you're only targeting coon, I'd stick with trails until the corn is down, then start working the stream.
