Another stream restoration example from a MI watershed. Rather than stick this in the St Clair forum it sould be a teaching tool for all watersheds.

What looks like the act of vandals is actually an environmentally friendly project called soft engineering, in which conservationists use nature trees, bushes and wildflowers to stabilize stream banks like the deteriorating Gibson bank.
