Church Walleye Boards with Ten Color

Wow, I recently found out you can run a ten-color with braid backer on a Church Walleye Board if you move the weight all the way forward and do a few other things. First, you need to replace the plastic rear pin on the board with a stainless steel rear pin that you can order online. Second, you hang the board using the steel pin and give it a few spins to create some twists in the line. Lastly, you attach the board to the front clip and send it out. I did this in Grand Haven a few days ago and it worked great. Kudos to the Church Tech Team for giving me this tech tip.

You can run a 10 color off an offshore walleye board and the only adjustments you need to the board are none ;). I run braids then a lead of high visibility mono I attach the board to.

I use them for 10 color. I wrap the braid around the front clip so it doesn't slip and it hasn't failed. The bigger boards help with long coppers though.

Try Nija boards made by dream weaver and will not look back!!! game changer, No more sunk boards. Use um with anything 450 copper down to 3 color lead. Easy removal, push the button turn your wrist.. Another mistake people make while using boards while salmon fishing is keeping your rod high and tip bent. WRONG point your rod tip right at the board and reel when fish is not taking drag!!! do not raise your rod tip till the board is removed.

So Church sells a product that doesn’t work unless you have to pay for upgrades?
I've ran them for years without any upgrades. They work for everything I need them to do out of the box. I am going to try the ninja boards this year for longer lead rigs or coppers.

Same here. I also have purchased a couple of ninjas for my long stuff after seeing them on my buddies boat.

I tried to run 450 coper and 12oz pump off of the magnum Tx 44 boards last week. Very disappointed in how poorly it worked.

We've been running ninjas since they came out. Best board by far. Tx44s don't compare.

1 season with ninjas and they are nice boards, nice one hand operation with them and pulls everything I run, that said they don’t pull as hard out to the side as my ziggy boards, so if I need to use both I have to make sure ninjas are outside boards
