Has anyone been out to check the public access at Cedar Island in the past few days? I checked it last weekend and it looked like it was getting close to being locked. Anyone know of any other access points on the lake at all ?????-it seems the dam area just wont freeze up and it would be nice to put a little more time in to exploring the lake this year.

No it was not frozen the other day I know where there is a beach you may be able to get out on.

ahhh.... look out drive beach (not sure it has a name or if that is it) I should have thought of that- I'll give it a look, but I remember last year it seemed that whole river chain stayed open for quite some time even after the other big lakes in the area locked up. Thanks for the heads up I should have known you'd have some info on that lake. I'll swing by the beach and take a look this weekend- if this snow ever clears up:yikes:
