I have a pond in the backyard that i emptied and redugg deeper a few years back, when i emptied it there were tons of little crayfish in there, so now that the pond is full again and stocked with fish, so I'm guessing that they are back. I see there burrows around the pond and i live in kind of a swampy area. Just wondering what you guys thought about catching them right out back in the pond and eating them. The pond is about 1/2 acre and about 15ft deep, but its all blue clay. Will they taste bad coming out of the pond with the blue clay, and since the water is not really flowing per say? (i do have a fountain in there that i ran pvc down about ten ft that pulls the water from down below, that runs nonstop). Just looking for something else fun to do around the house and my wife loves all types of shelfish!
