I just tried to call Capt. Nichols and set up a perch fishing trip for this summer and was told they were no longer in business and the capt. had retired. Anyone know the story on this? Has anyone taken over the business? Any other options for perch fishing charters on Lake Michigan? I set up 2 trips last year, one from work and one from church. We had a real good time on both trips and was ready to start signing people up for another trip this Sunday, glad I called first, but I'm bummed they're no longer in business, and now I'm looking for a plan B.

Yeah he went belly up, he should have been better to his customers. There are alot of smaller boats available for a trip no idea on the names and numbers but if your over that way guys are everywhere.
