I recently moved to SE Michigan and am interested in
fishing Detroit River, Erie and St. Clair. I know that I need a Canadian license to fish their waters but I have a few questions.

Where do you personally buy them?
Is there a place that you personally recommend?
How much? Can you buy on line?
Can you buy in Michigan?
Do children need one also?
Any age requirement for the kids?

Are size or creel limits different on these waters between Michigan and Ontario?

thanks

Welcome to the metro area BAMBAM! I usually pick up my Canadian lisence right around the cornre from the tunnel sometime in the winter- haven't done it yet this year though. There have allways been size and creel limit discrepencies between the two, however you must remember if you are going between the two waters the agency checking you won't differentiate.i.e. if you are in Michigan waters with an undersize fish you caught in Canada - although where you caught it it was legal, it's still an undersize fish in your possession in Michigan.
