The idea is for a trail camera contest. Would you suggest using something other than a bow, for an archery contest? Or would you bring a lasagna dish to a chili cook off? Those big lake fishing tournements really aren't fair either, I only own a canoe, should limit those contests to pier fishing only! Sorry if I misunderstood ,but I took it as a contest to win a trail camera therefore entitling it trail cam contest hence the reason Feed Man would post the thread in the deer cam pictures. I understand that in the past it has been limited to just a trail cam pictures, thats why I
suggested another option that would give others a chance to participate. I dont see what the big fuss is in even considering new ideas which could possibly improve on what has been done in the past as well as expanding Feed Mans target market by holding such a more diverse contest. I mean if its that big of a deal that the contest is only a trail cam pictures then maybe Kat had a good idea w/:

Heck, I did a similar thing last fall when I opted to not compete in a 3-D shoot and let a first-timer use my bow instead. Youll never guess what the prize he won that day was
a brand new Parker bow w/ hunting setup (he won it for the most misses

Hmmm. I have a least $500. in camera equipment other than trail cameras and I (as well as anyone else) can take them outdoors. The only difference is that I cant go strapping the camera I use to take family pictures with to a tree all year. I too would like to have a CAM contest for our members, but would think it would be even better if ALL members had a chance to participate regardless of the size of the members wallet and type of camera they have.
