I limited out on Long Lake yesterday in a little over an hour.

Was over 40' of water using my fish finder until I saw some laying on the bottom. Then, with the trolling motor, I moved 25 yards up wind of them, anchored, and cast a 1/2oz white lead head with a yellow/orange tail, tipped with a leech back over them. Waited till it hit the bottom, and, bang, three fish in five casts, just like that. I did that twice last night... fish were deep, and the sun was out. I've never caught walleye in such a bright sun (I know they were deep... but, man, it was bright out...)..

Anyway, had a blast...

Walleyed Ty,
Thanks for the info. I looked up the sight everything looked great, until I read "No Pets" I was hoping to find a place were I could bring my little hunting buddy along. We've been on a few trips this year were we had to put our dog in the kennel and I wanted to try an avoid that this time and bring her along. Thanks!!!

That's too bad... one of our only rules.. oh well.

We don't have a whole lot of what you'd call "doggy pasture" around, and we want to keep the place clean. I hope you understand....

I'm headed out again tonight... Update in a few hours:)
