Some of the young bucks are starting to show back up . Hopefully the Big Boys aren't far behind. The harsh winter we had last year has affected their antler growth some. They are looking healthy now.

Glad they're back. I'm seeing the same thing in my area. Seems like since they have shed the velvet the activity at my sites for bucks has picked way up and I am now getting pics of the more mature ones.

I can't wait to start seeing some horns at my place. Usually start showing up mid to late october. acorns are falling so maybe they will come a little early. my son is going to bow hunt there this year, actually next weekend.

Good luck to all.

Nice pics. Even if they are young bucks you gotta be excited for the next couple years. Is it snowing in that one pic?

Is that last buck a typical 2.5 yr old in your area?
Body size is typical of 2.5 year old. The racks are running smaller this year due to the stress from last winter. Most of the deer in the spring looked in very rough shape. Had a couple of fawns that died right in food plot in April.
