Water was better than I expected from the satellite... I could easily see my cavitation plate all the time. Floating weeds were a little bit of a problem - and we didn't notice it at first. Almost every lure had weeds when we left it out for 15 min.

'Had trouble marking fish so we started trolling in 22 FOW at about 8:30 where many of us did well a year ago, and headed with the wind toward the point. Since the waves had been piling up on the drop off, I thought we should work the drop off. On our first pass (from 22 FOW) we got two. One when we hit 12 FOW and another shortly thereafter in 10 FOW. On our second pass (from 20 FOW) we got a third - again when we hit 12 FOW. All three came on dark RR 800. We changed our light color lures to dark (black/purple) and made a third pass. Another boat ahead of us reported catching one in the same area while we were on our 3rd pass, but we ended the morning with just 3. 'Had an early afternoon commitment so we only fished 2 hr and 30 min.
