Bragging Rights

Just wanted to point out, that while many people were afraid to fish this weekend judging by the fact that I was the ONLY one on the lake where my cottage is (mid-MI), I caught a 23" largemouth bass. Sorry no pics, I released it.

I called ahead to my buddy on Houghton Lake and he said they had 5" of ice, and we are straight east of HL 45 miles and had nearly 6" of ice.

Point is, on I75 I could see open water on ponds south of exit 180, then all of a sudden good ice everywhere north of that.
