I didn't know these existed till this afternoon.

I was at my gun club today dialing in my .450 while the guy next to me was shooting a bolt rifle, I did notice the muzzle break when he sat down and thought nothing of it until I felt a good "blast" of pressure against my coat that I didn't feel on his other shots.
When I stood up and looked it was gone off his barrel, I then asked if he lost it while a guy a few spots down said he saw it fly down range.
At the cease fire he picked it up between the 100 and 200yd targets, he showed it to me and its held on by 6 Allen screws, he said its "cheaper" than a threaded break, to which I said annoyingly a lot more dangerous too.

I guess in my simple world these didn't exist, anyone use them, and if so, have you had similar problems?

I've heard of them flying off rifles before. Never seen a bolt-on myself. Picking one up between 100 and 200yd targets is a bad thing..........
