Sorry my soup pics hard time More of a story than anything. We all have that one thing we grew up requesting on our b day. Mine was chicken paprikosh. Lost ma on Christmas Eve, took her cookbooks, shook them out to no avail. I cried to sal one day "what you crying about" reply may never have these a again, as there was two recipes I wanted cried to my God mother (aunt) about it she said "have gmas recipe" where ma got it.Sal said sit back make me make it, homemade dumplings spot on, broth awesome. Brought me back.
Rough day for me when I lived at home come down stairs, got a kiss happy b day, or after I moved out annoying early call I woke up bawling, knowing I wouldn't get that call. Ive been strong but miss mommy moment for sure.
