This brown thrasher showed up for a couple days...also this yellow warbler .We also have a pair of piliated wood peckers .

I have a bunch of these yellow warbler around the yard and at the feeder this year. I do not recall seeing them around here before and they are harder than most birds to get a good picture of.

They also can be confused with a female goldfinch but have smaller pointy beaks .

I thought I had one of the pair of pileated woodpeckers we have but I guess not. The last one I am not sure what that one is called trying to eat from the feeder.

Thanks. The three middle pics were from the backyard (hawk, owl and turkeys) The hummingbird from Port Austin (brother in laws place) and the bear is from right outside the cabin near Alpena.

We have been blessed with seeing them for two years. They had a young ‘un last spring. Have seen two at once outside. Maybe another this year. I do not know if they skip a year. Another approach. Wings down.

We siliconed small sauce cups to cap visor to see if hummers would come in and sip being that close to my face. It worked.
