Title is slightly off... the carp were found in the St. Croix River 7 miles upstream from their previous point, not 7 miles from Lake Superior. The St. Croix is a Mississippi River tributary and is not in the Lake Superior watershed

They've found a few asian carp in the St. Croix in the last decade or so, mostly from commercial fishermen targeting rough fish

The way I see it too...got river goes into Wisconsin...and seems to be a lot of land for a fish to cross, unlikely.

But nice find, way to keep up on it, hope they stay out of the southern great lakes.
