Not that there is anything wrong with that.Okay, we get it. You have a fetish for antique guns.
Dances with Wolves and Appaloosa - two more real good ones. Jeez - there are so many great ones and they just keep coming. Here's a few good western movies.
The Quick and The Dead
Appaloosa
3:10 To Yuma
Dance's With Wolves
Django
Back To The Future 3
Lone Star
Cowboys VS Aliens
Hostiles is okay. Kind of dark and a touch PC. But nowhere near as bad as dances with...Half way through this one at this time
Wyatt EarpOkay, we get it. You have a fetish for antique guns.
Too Dark! I like Cormac's books. But the man never heard of a happy ending...Yes. It was an absolute masterpiece. A modern western style film like you said. Javier Bardem was outstanding in his performance, a well deserved Oscar. The rest of the cast & the filming was also fantastic. I wish I had seen it on the big screen.
??? Alias Smith and Jones?I must be alone in liking Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.
Reminds me of the Centennial miniseries.Closing in on 100 posts and nobody has mentioned Jeremiah Johnson?
Probably worth watching again, noticed in this trailer he never has a hair out of place.Closing in on 100 posts and nobody has mentioned Jeremiah Johnson?
I’m not a Robert Redford fan, but even he couldn’t screw that one up.Probably worth watching again, noticed in this trailer he never has a hair out of place.
Centennial was great but transitioning from true wilderness into progressively more modern times meant each subsequent episode wasn’t quite as good as the one before it for the most part.Reminds me of the Centennial miniseries.
I loved the last scene where Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder rode off into the sunset and got into a Cadillac waiting for them.Blazing Saddles. End of debate. Lol
Out of many good choices this probably replaced crossfire trail as my favorite. Probably due to the mores of freedom and the scenes that take place in wide open country in both videos. My favorite western movie is Open Range. My 2 favorite actors, Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall. Annette Bening is a doll as Sue. Beautifully filmed and beautifully acted.
It's a neowestern and a fairly good movie no more budget than it probably got. We drove past the wind river reservation in sept and it looked nothing like the movie though. Not an Old Western. But set in a western setting, Wind River!
