Should be enough ice out at the banana dyke downriver. Any reports??? The three-mile walk would keep one warm anyways.

I bet they are killing the perch down there because there has not been any reports that I know of. I have never been to Banana dyke but always wanted to. I might give it a try later this winter after the snow gets packed down.

They are actually filling in the south channel with dredgeings, the water is pretty cloudy. My friends dad went there last weekend and didn't catch a single fish. I'd rather drive an hour to St. Clair than walk an hour. Just my opinion.

Long time no talk!!! We will have to hook up when it gets hot. My dad went there last week, it was hot the week before, now, it slowed down, he got 4. He said the water was crystal clear, when the fish move in, it will be great. Mark, is your boat availible for winter fishing???? May want to consider going to the other dyke(cross dyke) sometime...
