I've only stayed at the Baldwin Creek Motel when I fish the PM. I've never had any complaints and I keep going back. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but its decent. It is in a great location for fishing the PM. It takes only about 10 mminutes to get to the Green Cottage access from there. I forget the guy's name who runs the place, but he has been pretty cool also.
Its good for a fishing trip I have been staying there or the Tarry Motel (right next door) since 1980. Since I am on the rivers from 5 AM until 6 PM then back to the motel for a quick dinner bought at one of the local stores, a shower, some tv until 9:30 Pm then in the sack to get up at 5 AM I don't need many luxuries. They both have cable TV.
I stay mostly at the Tarry though due to my relationship with the owner Paul Meade who passed away unexpectedly in 1985 or 86 who showed me a lot about fishing the whole region.
Have a good trip I will be there some time this spring, as always.
