Hey guys, looking to buy my first baitcaster on Tuesday. Looking for a few suggestions. I know some of the basics as for the brake and lure weights. Any good suggestions for combos around a hundred bucks at bass pro. I fished with my brother's a few times and love it. Probably going with mono. 12 or 14# for the frogs and weeds?

Well I've had it for awhile now. 6'6in fast action med rod with an Abu Garcia 6.4 : 1 reel. The most fun I've had topwater fishing. Can't wait to upgrade next year and add 60# braid. Just found the Alabama rig for 10 bucks. Roll Tide!
