We are going to plant AWP's this year in SE Iowa. We won't get it planted until the 20th of Sept. What rate should we use per acre? Should we mix it with winter wheat or ryman rye. If so what rate for each or is there another mixture that works? We haven't planted AWP's before.

If you want AWP's this year, planting now is a good time 25 lbs AWP + 50 lbs WW/acre. Sept 20 is getting almost too late for AWP to have much growth, by then just plant winter wheat at 100/lbs/acre.
