With all the forum discussion on arrow noise and vane flutter being a factor in a deer ducking the string why do the arrow vanes vary so much in length on different arrow brands? I bought a Carbon Express Maxima with 2" vanes and my Ten Point arrows came with 4" vanes? The dealer I bought my crossbow from sold me six aluminum arrows with 5" vanes?
Seems the shorter arrow vanes would flutter less in flight?
