I have a couple apple trees on my property that we bought. They have been neglected for some years before we moved in. I have them prunned back over the past 2 years and have them looking good.

My question is what do you spray them with to keep the bugs and grubs off of them. I helped my dad for years with his trees but didn't pay enough attention or didn't ask enough questions before he passed on.
Any help would be appreciated.

About now you spray with oil spray. This kills any eggs left on the bark from last years bugs. Also spray with orchard spray when 50% of the blossoms drop and weekly after that. Just don't spray just before a rainstorm.
