Bills sharpening is in Comstock park mi on Vinton Dr. He just finally retired and sold the business to one of his workers. He's been sharpening my stuff for over 25 years. He takes stuff in from all over the country and will ship it out when completed. Had h sharpen 3 old spoon augers for me 2 years ago and all are still razor sharp. I myself have a 6" Eskimo and bought a new set last month. (wonder if they'll come out of the package this year?).How expensive can it really be to just get another set?
I think last time I had mine done was $5 per blade.I myself have a 6" Eskimo and bought a new set last month. (wonder if they'll come out of the package this year?).
So curious, what does a place charge to sharpen a set?
Robinson’s still sharpens augers. Sharpens anything you need to be sharp and does a good job at that. What part of the state are you in? Anglers point by Selfridge and Robinson's Saw in Shelby Twp both offer auger sharpening (or at least used to)
I made that mistake once.just take the blades to the local lawn mower/snow blower repair shop and ask them to do it
Bills in comstock does has been doing my 8 and 10" lazer blades for years. Dangerous sharp when done.Al & Bob's in GR always used to do it. Just keep in mind, I don't think anyone will sharpen the curved blades like the Lazer augers have.
