I am going to take a drive up that way tomorrow and do some scouting. Have some private I can hunt on the Cheboyganing Creek. Wonder if the Plow Dry unit has any open water for some open water gunning. Have not seen very many birds around the homestead here lately.

I checked out the plowdry earlier this week it was iced over and I didnt see any birds. I would love to hunt that during regular season but its a real muck hole. I think you'll probably do alright on chebogyning creek though, it hasnt iced over yet. If you need any help hunting it I would be glad to help.

I will stay east of the river and just check out the cheboyganing. I appreciate the offer for help. But I am thinking me and the son can handle the little river.
