I know dams are always a place where fish concentrate in the spring but do you suppose it could offer a good summer fishery as well? The next thought is what size lead to use to keep your bait steady in that raging current
A little ways down from the damn is a very shallow gravel bar, have waded over 1/2 way across with hip boots duck hunting.may be able to get all the way across, saw a guy 2 weeks ago walking on the little island closest to dam.
people just pull off the side of the road near dam,on east side of river rd.not very busy around there at all with no snow..alot of that property below that dam is dnr property because of it being low flood plain.
