I haven’t since Sunday but will be launch at the joe around daylight launching.
I'll be giving it a try in the AM as well. I see a lot of big boats trolling in front of the piers this morning, there are definitely some steelhead around the piers. Probably a few salmon mixed in. I'm not going to mess around in there, but I'm sure you could catch some fish in there if you were so inclined.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I’ll be leaving the launch around 5 am.

What water depth are you thinking about starting in?

I’ll get on here and let y’all know where I find fish… Let me know if y’all find em.

What day are you planning on? Sunday I’ll come with you instead of going north.

I believe since it's gated, you can pay automatically on the machine with a credit/debit card to get in at the South Haven launch. Seasonal launchers get a key card and it's 24 hour access from my experience. Hoping to chase some kings this weekend, so any reports on how you guys do would be greatly appreciated!

5/21 I was a pro observer for our tournament; 6 for 7, north in 27s, 100-160’, all 6-9lb kings Then they went out 31 miles, yes no typo 31, to get some big lakers, 2-17, 16 and 15; of course they won 333. Finished 2nd in tournament pro division.
5/22 We fished straight out from piers to few miles north, 85-117’; 6 for 7, all kings; 2 on 300 cu on rv Moonshine blue jeans; riggers down 50 n 70, on wonder bread and rv WB,
dipsey on 3 out 170’ on yellow bikini SD w/pickled sunshine fly. Speed 2.6-3.1Sog.
5/23 friends were 2 for 2, laker n king in 100’.
5/24 friends again were 3 for 3 in 120, but another boat got 10 in 220’.
Hope this helps.

Ran north and out, setting lines in 85 at about 6:30. Hit a nice 12# on the set on a rigger 48 down standard moonshine green jeans. Barely got it reset and it went again, but didn't get a good hookup. Worked northwest for a bit and didn't have much more action. Set up on a westerly troll and started hitting fish pretty regular from 120 out to 140. Once we turned back we never really got much going again.
We ended up with 9 kings, 2 coho a laker and a shaker that went back. Best rod was that rigger at 48 with green jeans. Went 5 times I think, mabe 6. Lost a big one on that rod too. Once we had about a 3# trout on the main and a 2# king on the slider. 7/c with a nbk stingray went 3x. 300 copper went 3x with a jaegerbomb. Divers back 160 with FF went 3x. Rigger with a green / chartreuse standard size spoon 80 down took our biggest at 16#. Probably forgetting something, but had pretty good action for a while there.
Didn't get a picture with the full box, but here is our first 6 and our big.

Horseshoe, What port?
South Haven launch and fish cleaning station are open 24/7; gated entrance and exit.
Pay w/credit card at kiosk and gate opens.

Sorry. That's out of St Joe. Was probably fishing halfway between there and S Haven.
