what species of fish are in this lake? primarily looking for pike and perch.

I fish it fairly often. There are pike in there. Haven't caught any monsters out of there yet. As for the perch, I've never caught one. Supposedly there are walleye in there as well.

Long Lake has most of the same species as any other lake. Pike, Largemouths, gills, crappie, etc. Most of the lake is extremely shallow. There is a deep hole on the South end of the lake. That would be a good spot to set up tip ups and jig for panfish.

It can be a head scratcher at times, but there are fish in there lol just no perch and it has insane weeds!

I have fished here for a number of years, both ice fishing and off the kayak in the summer. Catch a few pike on the ice each year. One short one last weekend off a tip up with a shiner. Try the shallow areas on the east and west sides of the lake. Lots of weeds to contend with, but that is where the pike like to hide.
