Or how about Muskegon?

Supposed to be decent on Saturday...have to make a desicion on whether to hit the big water if I can...or the River...Would LOVE to get out on the big water...But if the boat launches are frozen in then the river it shall be.

Jimmy, I will try to get down to Muskegon lake tomorrow and put an eyeball on it. I would guess you better plan on the river though!

Rick
As much as I would like to...I for sure cannot ignore the logic you are using...

I'm guessing I will not get my boat in the water as well...

But you never know..
if you call a high of 20 degrees decent...... i seriously doubt you will be able to make it out there with the next couple nights. Weather.com said that in my area tonight it is suppse to be a low of 3 and then tomorrow night a low of 1.
20 is kinda balmy isn't it?

As long as the winds stay down it isn't that bad...But I agree I think the water on the lakes is going to get hard and quick.

Maybe I'll have to go ice fishing instead?
i checked macatawa yesterday and it was covered, but less than an inch thick... so if macatawa is covered, i would assume pigeon is.

is pigeon lake worth ice fishing on?
Get back to work Jim!:D
I heard at al and bobs today when I stopped for some supplies that guys are fishing white lake already...holy cow those are guys that must have good life insurance policies...

Sure honey go ice fishing...here make sure you take some extra stuff with you so you sink when you fall in...

Looks like i'm bound to rivers or a small lake doing some gills or specs...perhaps a tip up with a big juicy shiner on it too...hehe...

Anybody been by Wolf Lake in Muskegon? Some good pikes and a few eyes in that lake...So I hear.

Big lake is COMPLETELY FLAT RIGHT NOW...Damn thing is teasing me...
TOOO MUCH ICE ON PIGEON...just cold Gold Coast Outfitters...Darn it...

Well that makes the choice a little easier then...
I am actually thinking of trying the hard water on White tommorrow Jim. I'll let you know how many hogs I catch.
First I gotta see if I can get about two or three floatation devices on at one time.
Muskegon lake is also frozen. Check out this webcam:
