Well it looks like my only chance to fish for the next few months is the next 2 days. I'll spare you the details. Since the weather has become a big tease, my neighbor has agreed to get his boat out. Just not sure where to go. I need somewhere free of ice and high odds of catching something. Any suggestions? Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie, or inland lakes? The boat isn't too big though. 16 foot flat bottom w/ 20hp. I'd appreciate a point in the right direction. Thanks.

The last week of December I heard reports that some of the people fishing from the boats were catching limits of Walleyes in the North Channel. They were launching from the Decker's Launch.

There was still some good ice in the Anchor Bay area so it must have been an interesting sight. Ice shanties and bucket butts on the ice and boats in the open water.
