Any Red Dot User Out There?

560 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  don
Being that my eyesight isn't what it use to be,I have found that the fiber optic dot's on my turkey gun appear as more horizontal marks, than dots, both front and rear sights. I really don't want any magnification,so do not have the need for a scope. I know red dots require a battery, but will carry a spare, just in case. If any one has had experience with the red dots, good or bad, I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks

I hunt a red dot on my O/U. Only way to fly and don't worry about battery life unless you leave it on all the time. I don't bother to turn mine on until I figure I am gonna be using it--and then I know for sure which brightness is gonna be best.

They are also great for patterning your turkey blaster, you really know you were on and can see the drift with smaller shot.
