The fishing has been slow lately per the posts.
Any forecasts for the weekend?
It will be warm, and 1/2 moon, and a low south wind on Friday/Saturday.
I plan to head out Friday evening and work the channel edges of lower South and lower Middle channels. Probably give up the BB's and switch to some casting/trolling with cranks and softbaits. I'd like to pick up any evening walleye in the shallow edges, and bonus for bass/pike.

Anyone else trying? If so, similar strategy?

I'll post results soon!

I prefer to fish cold fronts this time of the year. These last couple hot weeks have done nothing good for fishing lsc and 80s this weekend is no good. Need a week of 60s and high 40s at night and it will be on until ice

3 largemouth, all before dark. Once the skeeters started buzzing, wife made a decision to call it. Cold snap will take care of those little vampires.

Saturday morning g by mouth of mide it got us a few pike on hard baits. One must have been big (or muskie) because it ran fast and then broke the line.
Bummer
