I am mikewhitey and I thank all of you for your comments regarding hunting without baiting. Do any of you know where I can find or purchase good and detailed aerial pictures of public land in Michigan? I have looked at Google before but I can't get a detailed AND recent picture of my area. Do any of you know if I can call a map company or any other company that supplies the detailed pictures I am looking for?
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR COMMENTS!!!

OK, they're not free (or even cheap). But they are really nice. You can order laminated and use quick-erase markers to mark stand locations, etc.

I have a few of these. I hang them on the walls in my hunting room.

For even more money, I have used and still own this (for North Carolina):

You can get it for Michigan. This product is awesome. But costs a lot of money. You can find it on sale at times.

Go to your local farm services office or NRCS office and ask them.

I have found that in the areas I hunt, that MapQuest actually has the best aerial photos. Find your spot on the regular map, and then click the "aerial" tab in the upper-right corner.
