I've got a half acre I planted in green patch plus about 3 weeks ago. It is not coming up nearly as good as I would like. I did an additional soil test and my ph still isn't as high as i would like it. Is it ok to add some more lime at this point?

Never a bad time to add lime. But, Lime needs time to treat soil. Have you thought about liquid lime? May want to try Aggrene Liquid Lime. 1-800-577-GROW to find a distributor in your area. I have used liquid stuff from a distributor near Reed City.:)

Do it today! With all this rain, it'll give it a chance to soak in. I haven't heard of putting too much lime down in Michigan. I guess it's possible, but I haven't heard of it.

I got it down before all of the rain came to town so it should have gotten worked into the soil pretty well. Thanks!

Like slicker said, there's never a bad time to put down lime. Late winter is another good time. Just spread it on the snow and it'll soak in as the snow melts.
