my buddy two-way'd me today all excited he had arrowed his first buck of the 2003 season. he killed it last nite 10-02-03. he was surrounded most the nite by bucks sitting in his stand on the edge of a standing corn field. he finally decide to take this 8 pt and his first attempt MISSED!! the buck only trotted about 10 yards away and continued in his foraging. he tried to nock a second arrow which he described to take many minutes...it felt like, but only seconds in real time and buried his second arrow catching the bottom edge of both lungs and the deer only traveled 20 yards where it fell for good!! 8pt about a 15 inch spread decent buck!!

Wide spread. That had to get the old heart pumping. lots of bucks , a second shot, a clean kill and the end results. In my book that is rated a #10 . congrats.
